Saint Eustratius lived during the persecutions of Emperor Diocletian and held a high military rank, yet he could not bear to see Christians tortured and came forward to confess openly that he was a servant of Christ. Together with his fellow martyrs Auxentius, Eugene, Mardarius, and Orestes, he endured cruel tortures, constantly strengthening the others with his words and example, until he was finally sentenced to death by fire in Sebaste on December 13, giving his soul to the Lord as a shining example of courage, faith, and sacrificial love. Small wooden icon 10x7cm, perfect for a compact prayer corner, bag, or car, and a blessed gift for soldiers, young people, and all who seek strength to remain firm in the Orthodox faith and spiritual struggle under the bold protection and intercession of Saint Eustratius.
