Sign-ups open now! In this course, Even will be walking you through everything he knows about creating believable worlds and the characters that inhabit them. He will cover how to create a believable sense of place and motivation for your characters so that they have a sense of authenticity, where you can feel the rich background and history of a world just from a single design. Even will teach you how to create a world and characters with believable context as part of a multi-week worldbuilding project. The fundamentals of drawing and creativity will also be covered so that you can confidently express your ideas in any medium of your choosing. Time & Date: Saturdays at 12PM ET starting January 31, 2026 Skill Level: All skill levels welcome Tiers: 12 Critique spots – Receive feedback or unlimited spectator spots without homework feedback Format: 4-5 hour live class with combination of lectures, demos, and feedback. Introducing worldbuilding student assignment Week 2: Student pitching and lecture on studying and cultivating curiosity Week 3: Communicating your concepts, developing an aesthetic, and the importance of fundamentals. Week 4: Drawing fundamentals focusing on observation and understanding. Developing your style Week 5: Business of art, project work and studio-vs-freelance work experience. Week 6: The importance of team work and the usefulness of outside perspectives Week 7: Preparing for your final concept Week 8: Final presentation, focusing on communication and conviction, relying on your world building and final designs.
