Do they have a good eye when it comes to making palettes? Are they smart with the way they use their warm and cool colors? Do they understand color theory and can they paint an object in different lighting scenarios? If the answer to those questions are all no, then that artist will not get hired. Which is why I decided to make and teach this class. In this class I want to take you through all you need to know about color theory. Then I’ll show you how that’s applied to a color key sequence and also a story moment. Color is definitely the best tool we have as artists for conveying an emotion or eliciting a feeling, and I want you all to understand how to wield this tool.
